Earlier this month, Yoram, the founder of Dealroom, reached out to us with some good summer vibes: ‘You've been identified as a top 1% investor in EMEA based on Dealroom’s proprietary data…’

They wanted to give us a heads-up that they intend to update and publish afresh their famous ‘VC ranking’ after the latest 2023 update. Knowing the great amount of effort the team puts into these exercises, it is one of the few rankings we look at. I think this one gives you a good idea directionally of where the different players sit…

Top 10 in Europe.

Mangrove is again in the top 10 early stage firms in EMEA,

in the top 20 across all stages in EMEA, and

in the top 40 early stage firms globally…

We’re proud to be part of this amazing group and to continue contributing to the European ecosystem, which now counts around 8,5k firms and keeps getting stronger every year.

Compared to 2023, while there are a few significant moves, it is great to see that our own ranking has held strong or improved slightly. First and foremost, this is a real testimony to the quality of the founders and companies we get to work with. It is a true privilege to support all these amazing entrepreneurs changing the world for the better through innovation - thank you...

More global players in Europe.

Skimming through the rankings, one thing that stands out is the growing presence of global players, notably US firms, in Europe. This is good news for our ecosystem and a good omen for the future…

As you know, I am usually not the biggest fan of rankings (see 2023 post), as you just can’t eliminate the many biases given the very different investment strategies, stages, fund sizes, and so on. At the end of the day, performance is what matters, and everyone has their own recipe for getting there...

I spent this summer in the Dolomites. It was my second time in the region after a first short stint last summer after an invite from one of our LPs. It is a special part of Europe - not only is the nature stunning, but also the unique blend of several European cultures and history is uniquely rich.

Life is awesome,

Yannick

Detailed and practical, this guide explains concrete rebar in a way that feels approachable without oversimplifying. The step by step clarity is especially useful for readers new to the subject. I recently came across a construction related explanation on https://hurenberlin.com that offered a similar level of clarity, and this article fits right in with that quality. Great شيخ روحاني resource. explanation feels practical for everyday rauhane users. I checked recommended tools on https://www.eljnoub.com

Using technology to increase access to youth mental health support may offer a practical way for young people to reach guidance, safe-spaces, and early help without feeling overwhelmed by traditional systems. Digital platforms, helplines, and apps could give them a chance to seek support privately, connect with trained listeners-or explore resources that might ease their emotional load. This gentle shift toward tech-based support may encourage youth to open-up at their own pace, especially when in-person help feels too heavy to approach.

There is always a chance that these tools-quietly make support feel closer than before, creating moments where help appears just a tap away. Even a small digital interaction might bring a sense of comfort. And somewhere in that space,…

During a long bus ride from Penang to Ipoh, I got bored and decided to try https://plinko.com.my. Honestly, I didn’t expect much at first, but it turned out to be a great way to pass time. The app works well even on mobile data, which was perfect since the connection was a bit slow at times. I enjoyed watching the chips bounce and landing in different slots—it’s oddly satisfying. By the time I reached my destination, the ride felt much shorter, and I even recommended the site to my seatmate, who ended up trying it too.
